fourth edition of the ‘Jawaher Assahrae’ Forum

IOPDHR-GENEVA-NGO had the honour of taking part in the fourth edition of the ‘Jawaher Assahrae’ Forum, organised under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, in the town of Smara, from 15 to 17 November 2024. This prestigious event honoured Moroccan women as producers, creators and contributors in various areas of society.

 

Welcome and general context

The warm welcome and remarkable hospitality of the organisers and the people of the town of Smara created a friendly and inspiring atmosphere. This forum, rich in cultural and artistic activities and field visits, was a real platform for promoting the role of women in sustainable and inclusive development.
